Meet Our Physicians
Dr. Irfan Jawed, MD
Dr. Irfan Jawed practices oncology, hematology, medical oncology, and pain medicine. He completed medical education at Dow Medical College in 1996. His internal medicine training included Long Island College Hospital and Internal Medicine Residency Spokane. His fellowship experience includes Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the National Cancer Institute. He speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, Sindhi, and Urdu. His hospital affiliations include Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital and Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital. His work brings together cancer care, blood disorder care, symptom management, and attention to quality of life.
Dr. Muhammad Salamat, MD
Dr. Muhammad Salamat specializes in oncology and hematology. He completed medical education at Rawalpindi Medical College in 1990. His internal medicine training included West Suburban Medical Center and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, followed by fellowship training at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2001.
Dr. Salamat speaks English and Urdu. His hospital affiliations include Memorial Hermann Pearland Hospital and Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital. His approach centers on careful evaluation, individualized care planning, and direct communication with patients and families.
